A Hidden Gem of Jefferson County’s Seniors

I, an Orange county resident with friends in Jefferson county, began hearing of the Best Year’s Center and the many diverse programs they offer, for cheap to the area’s seniors old and younger.

I had used the services to some degree when I was the caretaker of my maternal grandmother who was suffering with advanced Alzheimer’s disease.

 A friend forwarded the Best Years monthly newspaper to me and what a surprise of activities, classes, shopping and sightseeing trips, lunches, music and dancing, exercise classes and much more.

Did I say they were inexpensive?

I plan to go this week and tell them how impressed I am and to see if I might volunteer a little enough though I’m a ‘foreigner’ from Orange county.

 Why is Beaumont hiding this gem?
